12 Days of Christmas

Back when Alan was growing up, his mom would do the 12 days of Christmas for him and his siblings. They all got their own tree in their room, and she'd leave a little something every night. I thought it was such a neat tradition, and Alan wanted to do the same for Henry. So tonight we popped some popcorn and put it on string for a little decoration. But to clarify, I popped the popcorn and put it on the string while Henry ate it faster than I could string it, while Alan was taking pictures at my direction.

Henry was so amazed at the popcorn maker and had the funniest faces.

The present for day 1 was a "Melmo" dvd. After Henry opened it (carefully ripping one little piece after another) we sat on the floor of his room and watched the first 20 minutes together. It was only 20 minutes because that's about all Henry can handle in one sitting. Ha ha.
