Update

Well it's been awhile since I have done a belly shot so after Rickell asked nicely I thought I should post one. I have been pretty busy lately and I haven't found as much time to blog so that is why I have 2 posts in one day. I got a promotion at work, but with that promotion comes a weird schedule. I work 7 days on, but then I get 7 days off. It definitely has it's ups and downs but so far I like it. Alan and I are all ready for Christmas and it's hard to believe that it's just a couple days away. I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday and that they are able to spend it with those they love. Merry Christmas!This is at 13 weeks

We try to get together every Sunday for dinner and games. For those of you that don't know, Alan and I love playing board games and we are getting a nice little collection started. So if you ever feel like getting your butt kicked in dominoes call Alan.. Not me!

Gingerbread Houses

For a fun family activity all the Roberts got together to make gingerbread houses. I haven't made one in who knows how long, so it was fun to get together and celebrate the holidays. I spent A LOT of time working on the dang windows and door so make sure you look close. Haha.

These are all the houses we made that night. I think there is some serious talent in this family!

Have yourself..

My little sister, Rachel, asked that I post a picture of our tree. It sure is small and not a lot going on with it, but it works for us. We have done all our christmas shopping and now they are waiting under the tree for us. This is close to my favorite time of the year. I love giving gifts, especially to Alan. He gets so excited over everything I get him and it really makes waiting in line at the cashier worth it. Merry Christmas everyone! 

First Appointment

Well I had my first doctor appointment on Thursday and my mom and little sister were able to come up for it. My doctor is an energetic lady and told me that everything is looking good. We weren't originally going to have the ultrasound the same day as the appointment, but they were able to get me in a couple hours after the appointment. It was such an amazing thing to see my little baby in the screen. I instantly started crying and Alan just laughed at me, although he was just as amazed. The baby's heart beat was 175 beats per minute which is normal for this age. They also told me that I'm not as far along as I thought I was. I thought I was 12 weeks, but I'm only 10. Making the due date July 2nd. Alan is hoping for a 4th of July baby. All in all we had a great weekend and it's comforting knowing that there really is a baby in there and there is a reason for being this hormonal.

If you look close you will see two little + signs, that is marking from the head to the feet. So the baby is 3.08 cm long.

Thanksgiving in St. George

After work on Wednesday, Alan and I cruised down to St. George to spend the long weekend with my family. We got lucky this year and both my Dad's and Mom's families were in town. We hopped from one house to another and never stopped eating! We had such a great time and although it rained one day, we still enjoyed the warmer weather. We also got to go out to dinner with Rickell and Jesus to celebrate baby girl Chloe's 2nd birthday. It's always fun to hang out with the Espinozas. 

This is Maggie May and for some reason she LOVES to sit really close to the heat lamp. I wonder how her face doesn't start on fire. 

This is Maurice, or Mauricio. We pushed his lips up so he looked like dracula dog. It was pretty stinkin funny.

10. When and Where was your first kiss? It was at a party at our friend Les's house.

12. Do you have any children? A little parasite that is 11 weeks old.

15. Who said, "I love you first?" He did.. It was the cutest thing.

16. What is his favorite type of music? He likes it all, but right now he digs the more jazzy sounding music. I guess that's what happens when you get old.

17. What do you admire most about him? His strive to always be a better person.

18. Do you think he will read this? He was reading over my shoulder until about question 15.

Random Post

It's been awhile since I have posted anything so I thought I'd do a little update. I took a couple days off of work to spend a long weekend with Alan and it's been really fun. I think the holiday bug has bitten me a little early, so we went and bought some stockings. And although we haven't had the baby yet, I wanted to buy a baby stocking for fun. Alan wants to know what I'm planning on putting in there and I said, "Maybe a binky?" He thinks I'm crazy, but I don't care. 
Also, here is my first official "baby bump" picture for you all to enjoy. I'm about 10 weeks along, and my first doctor appointment is December 4th. So I'll be sure to let you all know how Baby Roberts and I are doing.

We went out to dinner last night to celebrate a friends birthday and I just haven't been feeling super for the past couple of days. It all started with pizza.. Baby Roberts does not like pizza. So at dinner I really didn't feel like anything at all so I ordered pasta knowing it would be good left over. Well the smell it left in the fridge made me want to puke all day. So I basically avoided the kitchen all day. So when Alan got home from work he asked me what I wanted for dinner and I have had pancakes on the brain all day. So without being asked he went in the kitchen and made me pancakes. He doesn't even like pancakes, that's the funny thing. I'm feeling very lucky to have him as my partner and I couldn't ask for anyone better. 

Well maybe someone that likes having their picture taken more..

So apparently I've been tagged and I'm supposed to post the 4th picture in my computer. I was going to wait until we got our desk top all set up and running (because it's got better pictures) but we've been having issues with setting it up for wireless internet. So I'll just use pictures on our mac. But now looking at the picture this one is pretty dang funny. It's of me and my little brother Dylan. I have so much fun distorting pictures on our mac. Crazy Weekend

So we have had a crazy weekend trying to get our new little place set up. And it costs a lot of money to completely start over! We wanted new furniture to go in our new apartment, and just let the days of student housing (slash the love dungeon) be behind us. So here are a few shots of our living room. As far as the pregnancy.. So far so good. I have been having a lot of heart burn lately, and I feel like I could eat all day, but other than that life is good; hectic, but good!

Here we are Blog World

I have always enjoyed looking at other peoples blogs, or I guess the technical term is blog stalking, and I wanted to start one myself but didn't think my life was interesting enough. Well as of last night at about 9:45 things got A LOT more interesting. Alan and I thought maybe we should start trying for a baby so I got off my birth control about a month ago. About 2 weeks into it I starting getting cold feet and told him that I was going to go back on the birth control once I started my period, but it never came. Apparently someone is REALLY excited about joining our little family. I took 2 tests, and went to the doctor this morning and it was confirmed. So here is a blog to follow our new life and I hope you all enjoy!
