Halloween

I knew this year was going to be fun for Henry. He is more aware of what's going on and understanding concepts. I knew I couldn't have a costume with a hat or mask, so we settled on superman with spray painted black hair. Even though he's getting to be a bigger boy every day, we still have the occasional melt down.

Giving him candy early in the night? Sure. Why not.
(If you look close you can see a tear. Dude really knows how to throw on the dramatics.)

Henry is going to the IHC daycare, and they threw a little carnival for all the kids. It was so much fun, and I think Henry really enjoyed it.

I think he missed the memo that when you bowl you are supposed to roll the ball.. not throw it.

We also met up with Rickell and her kids to go trunk or treating. I've always thought trunk or treating was such a lame idea, but having a toddler I see why they started it. MUCH easier to walk around a parking lot than an entire neighborhood.

Alan and I got invited to a costume party and while Alan's not really one to want to be festive, I am. Despite that, he always thinks of the best costumes, and this year did not disappoint. We went to the DI looking for ugly Christmas sweaters when Alan laid his eyes on that shirt. I managed to find one just as awesome, then some amazing shorts to boot. 12 dollars later and we were tourists. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty sure Alan's 'stache and fanny pack sealed the deal. 2 legit 2 quit.
