A few weekends ago, we wanted to get out of the St. George heat and do something different. Luckily for us, there is somewhere that fits that description perfectly and only takes 45 minutes to get to. Alan was shocked that we lived so close to a mountain that so closely resembles what you'd find in Salt Lake City. He felt like he was at home. 

 

While we wanted cooler weather, we didn't really expect it to be as cool as it was. We pulled up in our summer attire to 70 degree weather and raining. As we sat and shivered our way through lunch, we were all wondering if we should have checked the weather before we left. 

 

How modern is our family? As soon as we started on our hike, the cell phones came out and we started snapping some pictures.
