If I haven't mentioned yet that I love October.. then let it be known that I LOVE October. The month is started out with our anniversary, and this year was a big one for us. 5 years seems like a fairly significant number, and it's pretty amazing to see what we have accomplished the past 5 years. I love this man more than I did that rainy day that I married him. It never ceases to amaze me how selfless he is and so willing to think of others before himself. I can't wait to see where we are in the next 5.
It's no secret that I'm a very spoiled girl. Back when Alan and I first got married, I joked with him that on our 5 year anniversary, I wanted another band of diamonds to go with my ring. Alan agreed, and because he is a man of his word he had a little sparkle to surprise me with when I got home. I was SO excited when he pulled the bag out and I instantly knew what was waiting for me! I think I'm going to have a perma-grin on my face for the next month!
