Drum roll please..

I have finally been feeling like the house is blog worthy, so I had a little photo shoot with it today. We worked very hard on the house and it's so nice to have a place of our own.
The entry way with the stairs going to the basement.

The family room

Different shot of the family room

The living room

Family Room

The living room fire place. There used to be retro mirrors on each side of the fire place, so we ripped them down and did a fun accent wall.

We didn't do much to the kitchen except take down all the wall paper.

Dining Room

The office/ U of U room

Henry J's Room. This room also used to be Alan's when he was growing up. There was also wall paper on wall paper in this room. Thanks to my little brother Dylan and sister Annie we were able to get it all.

Henry's bed, which hopefully one day he'll sleep in.

The basement living room/ The man cave. I gave Alan this room to decorate however he wanted. We don't have couches yet, but they are soon to come. This room had some serious orange shag carpet and wood paneling on all the walls. Don't ask Alan how he feels about removing wood paneling.

The Guest Room

Dry Storage. This room literally had stuff from floor to ceiling and wall to wall. It was a nightmare getting it all cleared out. Don't ask Alan about that either. It was a bad couple days.

This is the basement bathroom. We had it professionally remodeled because the original was disgusting. It turned out super cute and clean looking.
I know that there are pictures floating around of the original house, so I will find and post them.

I love doing projects but half way through I get tired of having a messy house and things out of place so I usually don't finish the project. So way to stick with it all the way to the end it looks GREAT! ;)

Your house does look awesome. Maybe one day when I have a house of my own you can come and help me decorate. Bravo to you. You are so crafty. You didn't even mention how you made the drapes...so modest! Well, I hope you can Henry are coming to my shower next week. I miss his face already.
