We took Henry J on his first trip this weekend down to my Dad's house in Koosharem. It was fun to get out of SLC since we haven't left since before Henry was born. The weather was good, food was awesome, and the company couldn't be beat.
We went to Fish Lake for lunch one of the days.

My little family.

Grandma Bagley watched Henry for us while we went on a 4 wheeler ride. Such beautiful country up there.

This is my little sister Jordyn, and that would make her Henry's aunt. We celebrated her 2nd birthday while we were there and she was pretty intrigued by Henry. This is her holding him.
Without being asked, Jordyn started playing peek-a-boo with Henry. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen.

Giving baby Henry some loves. I know these two will be good little friends!

Drum roll please..

I have finally been feeling like the house is blog worthy, so I had a little photo shoot with it today. We worked very hard on the house and it's so nice to have a place of our own.
The entry way with the stairs going to the basement.

Different shot of the family room

The living room

Family Room

The living room fire place. There used to be retro mirrors on each side of the fire place, so we ripped them down and did a fun accent wall.

We didn't do much to the kitchen except take down all the wall paper.

Dining Room

The office/ U of U room

Henry J's Room. This room also used to be Alan's when he was growing up. There was also wall paper on wall paper in this room. Thanks to my little brother Dylan and sister Annie we were able to get it all.

Henry's bed, which hopefully one day he'll sleep in.

The basement living room/ The man cave. I gave Alan this room to decorate however he wanted. We don't have couches yet, but they are soon to come. This room had some serious orange shag carpet and wood paneling on all the walls. Don't ask Alan how he feels about removing wood paneling.

The Guest Room

Dry Storage. This room literally had stuff from floor to ceiling and wall to wall. It was a nightmare getting it all cleared out. Don't ask Alan about that either. It was a bad couple days.

This is the basement bathroom. We had it professionally remodeled because the original was disgusting. It turned out super cute and clean looking.
I know that there are pictures floating around of the original house, so I will find and post them.

4 months

Time has absolutely flown by! Henry J is now 4 months old and weighs 9 lbs 14 oz. I thought that he weighed a little over 8 pounds so you can imagine my shock when the nurse told me how "fat" he is. He is almost on the growth charts for his actual age, but for his corrected age (one month old) he is in the 50th percentile for weight and height. The doctor is very happy with the way that Henry is growing and progressing.
I think he looks like such a little man right here. He doesn't mind running errands with me, and usually ends up falling asleep.

Trying on his new shoes that Grandma and Grandpa Bagley gave him.

Enjoy

It's been awhile since I have posted some pictures. My baby is almost 4 months old and it scares me to think that my maternity leave is almost over. But in the mean time, enjoy the fun pictures.

I took this picture in the evening and the flash was WAY too bright.

When Henry was napping one day I went in to check on him and his little feet were hanging out of the blanket. So cute.

Mini Alan

I thought it would be fun to post some pictures of Alan and me when we were babies so people could see who Henry looks like. I think Henry looks a little like me, but he's definitely Alan's son.
This is me at 2 1/2 months. So cute!
Henry at 3 months. Still rockin the big cheeks!

I'm not sure how old Alan is in this one, but he looks like maybe a month or two old as well.

3 Months

My how time flies! Henry J is already 3 months old now and I decided to have a mini photo shoot in his bedroom. I did it right after he woke up from his morning nap so I could get the happy boy and not the "I'm SO sick of pictures Mom" boy.

Henry hangin out in his bachelor pad.

We went to the doctor this week and Henry is doing very well. When you have a preemie baby you have to correct their gestational age. So rather than 3 months old, they are considering him a newborn right now. He is 20 inches long and weighs 7 lbs 9 oz. For his weight he is in the 50th percentile and in the 75th for his height. If we went by his actual age he'd only be in the 5th percentile. Our pediatrician always reminds us how cute our little man is and she's a professional so it must be true! I promise I'm not biased at all.

Summer Fun

Now that Henry is home and our house is so close to being done, (I promise I'll get pictures up soon) we have been able to actually enjoy ourselves. We went over to Spencer and Lana's and had a yummy BBQ and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I love the lazy summer nights.
