After we went on our little adventure to Pine Valley, Alan had an itch to get up and go camping. We thought it would be a fun over night experience for Henry, not to mention a good little trial run for a long weekend camping trip we've been planning with our friends.

 Unfortunately there was a fire restriction up on the mountain, so we had to improvise when it came to making smores. I guess we could have forgone the smores, but how fun is that? Either way, it was super fun and the kids all ended up as a sticky mess. 

 

Henry got pretty nervous when it was time for bed and he wasn't home, but as soon as I laid down beside him he fell asleep and even slept through the thunder in the early morning!
